Speed in a Bottle
I am old school when it comes
to transportation. I think that a
motor needs a carb or two,
under the hood to be appealing.
When my son asked me if he
could have that old 327 in the
garage for his Nova, I just smiled
and nodded my head.
The motor and car will use a
lot of "old school" go fast tricks.
High compression, really big
cam, Muncie 4 speed, 9 inch
ford rear end.
The little Nova's interior will
look the way it did in 1962 to
keep the nostalgia going.
It will also use another trick
that has been turning spark
plugs green since the early
sixties. Nitrous oxide, in a pretty
blue bottle, controlled by
modern solenoids.
Follow along as we update for
safety and restore this classic
automobile.
