I thoroughly enjoy a good car show. Over the years, I
have noticed people doing amusing, odd, and sometimes
dangerous rituals getting ready for the "Show".The reason
for this somewhat odd behavior, apparently, is to get the
car looking just right.
While relaxing in the shade, observing this strange form
of self-abuse I made a shocking discovery !!!!
Apparently, very BIG motors and LARGE brakes are
necessary to get the shiny vehicles off the trickle charger,
out of the garage, and into an enclosed trailer !
That explains why the little old weak small block and
tiny 11 inch GM disc brakes on my old hot rod, wouldn't
stop me from hydro planing off the road 200 miles from
home....Who'd a thunk it.....
